Bench Mount Basins

Also known as countertop or vessel basins, bench mount basins sit on top of your vanity and instantly become the focal point of the room. Choose from ranges including OMEGA, BYRON, EDEN, ISABELLA, APOLLO and CHARLOTTE, or go for the handcrafted, earthy character of DURACRETE concrete basins.

Shapes, materials and finishes

Pick from round, oval, square and rectangular shapes in ceramic, solid surface or concrete, with colours including Gloss White, Matte White and Matte Black. Round and oval bowls soften a modern vanity, while square and rectangular designs feel crisp and architectural.

Because the basin sits above the bench, pair it with tall basin mixers or wall mount tapware, and seat it on a stone vanity top or warm timber top. Prefer a flush benchtop? Compare our inset basins.

Visit a showroom to see shapes and finishes side by side, or ask our team for design advice.
What height tap do I need for a bench mount basin?

A bench mount basin usually needs a tall basin mixer or a wall mounted mixer so the spout clears the rim comfortably. The outlet should sit over the bowl without splashing onto the bench. Check the basin height alongside the spout height and reach listed on each product page, or browse our tall basin mixers.
Round or rectangular bench mount basin: which suits my vanity?

Round and oval bench mount basins suit most vanity widths and soften clean-lined cabinetry, while square and rectangular basins give a sharper, architectural look. On narrower vanities, a compact round basin leaves more bench for everyday items. Compare the basin's dimensions on its product page with your vanity top before deciding.
Are concrete bench mount basins hard to look after?

No, DURACRETE concrete basins just need gentle, regular care. Wipe them with a soft cloth and a mild, non-abrasive cleaner, and avoid scouring pads or harsh chemicals. Concrete basins carry a 2 year warranty, while our ceramic basins carry 5 years and solid surface basins 7 years, so weigh character against care when choosing.
Is a waste included with a bench mount basin?

Most of our bench mount basins are sold as basin only, so you'll need to add a waste. Check whether the basin has an overflow, then choose a 32mm or 40mm basin waste to suit. Have a licensed plumber complete the installation so your product warranty applies.
