Also known as back to wall toilets, wall faced suites close the gap between the pan and the wall so there are no exposed pipes to dust around. They are a popular choice for renovations because they give a modern, streamlined look without the in-wall framing a wall hung toilet needs.

What is a wall faced toilet?

A wall faced toilet is a floor-mounted toilet whose pan sits flush against the wall, hiding the trap and connecting pipework. This gives a cleaner look than a traditional suite with an exposed trap and leaves fewer awkward gaps to clean. Most wall faced suites have a visible cistern, which keeps installation simpler in an existing bathroom.
Is a close coupled toilet the same as a wall faced toilet?

Not quite: close coupled describes a cistern that sits directly on the back of the pan, while wall faced describes a pan that sits flush to the wall. Which wall faced toilets come in matte black?

The JASPER wall faced toilet is available in Matte Black, as well as Gloss White and Matte White. It pairs with a heavy duty Duraplast quick release soft close seat and uses Tornado flush. Clean matte finishes with a soft cloth and mild, non-abrasive cleaner to keep the surface even, and pair it with matching matte black tapware and accessories.
Will a wall faced toilet fit my existing plumbing?

A wall faced toilet will fit if its set-out range matches the distance from your wall to the centre of your floor waste. Set-out varies by model, so check the product page and measure before you buy. An S-trap adapter can help in some situations, and your licensed plumber should confirm fit, as licensed installation is required for the warranty to apply.
