Ceiling Droppers for Overhead Rain Showers

A ceiling dropper positions your shower head straight down from the ceiling, giving you the even, overhead flow of a true rain shower. It is a popular choice for walk-in showers and larger ensuites where the head can sit centrally.

Styles and finishes

Our droppers come in the SPIN and QUADRA ranges, so you can match the profile of your mixer and other outlets. Finishes include chrome, brushed brass, matte black, brushed nickel, gunmetal and champagne gold.

Check each product page for length and connection details, and ask your plumber to rough in the ceiling water point early. Our showroom team can help you plan heights.
Ceiling dropper or wall shower arm: which is better?

A ceiling dropper gives a true overhead rain shower with water falling straight down, while a wall shower arm projects the head out from the wall. Droppers suit centred heads in larger or walk-in showers; arms are simpler to plumb in renovations. Compare options in our shower arms.
How long should my ceiling dropper be?

Choose a dropper length that puts the shower head comfortably above the tallest user's head while keeping it clear of the ceiling. Check the length on each product page and compare it with your ceiling height. Your plumber can confirm the best position before the ceiling is lined.
Will a ceiling dropper match my shower head finish?

Our ceiling droppers come in chrome, brushed brass, matte black, brushed nickel, gunmetal and champagne gold, so you can match most shower heads and mixers. SPIN and QUADRA styles help you echo the profile of your tapware for a cohesive look.
What plumbing does a ceiling dropper need?

A ceiling dropper needs a water point roughed in through the ceiling above the shower, installed by a licensed plumber. It is easiest to plan during a renovation before the ceiling is lined. If your water point is already on the wall, a shower arm is usually the simpler choice.
