It depends on the model: some floor standing spouts have an integrated mixer, while others are spout-only and need a separate wall mixer. Check the product page to confirm what is included before ordering. If you need a separate control, choose a wall mixer from the same range so the finishes match.

Freestanding spouts suit freestanding baths without tap holes, including acrylic, solid surface and clawfoot styles, especially where the bath sits away from the wall. Matte black hides fingerprints well but can show hard-water spots if left to dry. Wipe the spout with a soft, damp cloth and dry it after bathing to keep the finish even. Avoid abrasive pads and harsh cleaners, which can create shiny patches on a matte surface.

Yes, but it usually means lifting floor tiles to run pipework and reinstating waterproofing, so it is best done as part of a renovation. A licensed plumber must install the spout for the warranty to apply. If lifting the floor isn't practical, consider a wall spout and mixer instead.
