When do in wall mixers need to be installed during a renovation?

In wall mixers need their valve body installed at the rough-in stage, after framing and before the walls are sheeted and tiled. Choosing your mixer early lets your plumber set the correct depth and position. Changing your mind after tiling is costly, so finalise the range and finish first.
Can I replace an in wall mixer without removing tiles?

Often you can replace the handle, cover plate or cartridge without removing tiles, but swapping the entire valve body usually means opening the wall. That is why choosing well from the start matters. Our mixers carry a 15 year ceramic cartridge warranty when installed by a licensed plumber.
Can an in wall mixer be used for a basin?
