Tileable Shower Trays and Bases

Getting the fall right is one of the trickiest parts of tiling a shower. Our EZILAY shower trays take care of it for you: they are made from XPS, 100% waterproof, lightweight and pre-laid to falls, so water heads to the waste without a hand-screeded bed.

Why builders and renovators choose EZILAY

Lightweight XPS that is easy to handle and cut on site
Easily tiled for a seamless finish with your floor
Pre-laid falls that support floor-level showers

Because the tray sits flush with the floor, it suits walk-in showers with a fixed glass shower panel or a frameless glass shower kit. Add a matching EZILAY niche for storage and choose a grate from our floor wastes. Browse all shower hardware, or ask our team for project advice.

A tileable shower tray is a pre-formed base that you tile over, so the finished shower matches the rest of your floor. EZILAY trays are made from waterproof XPS and pre-laid to falls, which removes the need to screed the fall by hand and speeds up the build.

Yes, EZILAY XPS shower trays are 100% waterproof. They should still be installed as part of a complete wet-area waterproofing system by your builder or waterproofer, with the tray, walls and waste all sealed and tiled correctly to meet local requirements.

Yes, EZILAY trays are pre-laid to falls and allow floor-level showers, which suits walk-in and accessible layouts. The floor structure needs to accommodate the tray, so plan it with your builder early. Pair it with a walk-in glass panel for an open look.

Choose a waste that suits the tray's waste position and your style, such as a round tile grate or a linear drain. Check the tray's product page for its waste location and size, then match your grate finish to your tapware. Your plumber will confirm compatibility.
