Katie and Alex's Rustic Cottage Restoration

Gundaroo, NSW is the next house to be renovated for House Rules contestant’s Katie and Alex. Their small piece of paradise is tight on storage and crumbling down around them. This rustic cottage built in the 1800’s is in definite need of full restoration and expansion.

The teams had quite a challenge set out for them for this house reveal by having to add on an extension to the current home. Both the bathroom and ensuite that the teams delivered were sensational. We love Pete & Courtney’s take on the main bathroom by going eco-friendly and using a greenery wall as the feature piece. The LAWSON Clawfoot Bath in Black adds a classic touch and a modern country style.  

Mikaela and Eliza’s ensuite was also ticking house rules boxes with the use of an EDEN Wall Hung Modular Vanity Timber Vanity & a LUSINI Solid Surface Basin. The combination of colours and choice in floor tiling met the brief to create a 21st century country style look.
